How does reducing biofilm build-up, break the mould for a new sanitisation system?

Tapping into expertise. Water borne bacterial pathogens and the biofilm build-up in healthcare sanitation systems has always posed a constant threat to both patients and practitioners as certain bacterial strains like pseudomonas aeruginosa are extremely resistant to antibiotic treatment. Armitage Shanks launched its new flagship healthcare sanitisation systems - Contour21 and Markwik21, to significantly reduce the risks posed by biofilm build-up. Our main objective was to create an awareness campaign that brought out the system’s key benefits.

Microscopic to big picture. Our challenge lay in understanding how to capture the right amount of microscopic detail while bringing big picture clarity. This was particularly important for customer-facing team members who were required to take senior clinicians and hospital buyers through in-depth technical details.

Watershed moment. We focused on creating a series of bite-sized product stories that demonstrated benefits, from the inside and out. This was achieved through a series of vivid, 3D animations that showcased the internal and external workings of a remarkable sanitation system. The launch of Contour21 and Markwik21 was a watershed moment in the fight against bacteria, propelling Armitage Shanks and its ambition to be the leading Healthcare Sanitation System provider for UK and Europe.
